We spoke with the co-founder and president of mima, Irit Bruchim, to learn more about the brand and what new parents can expect at the LA Baby Show.
For someone unfamiliar with mima, how would you describe the company’s mission and core offerings?
mima is a Dutch designer and manufacturer of strollers and high chairs. mima’s products are made out of leatherette and benefit from a harmonious combination of stylish aesthetics and color creations.
We are passionate about design, innovation, and functionality. We are continually inspired and strive to create highly desirable and poignant products that truly evoke emotion and facilitate family life.
Tell us about the company’s background. When did it start and how has it evolved since then?
The mima brand was born in 2009 when Davy and Yolanda, having raised two children of their own, decided to help make the lives of tomorrow’s parents a little bit easier.
mima has come out with an amazing overhead stroller called Zigi that will hit the market in June 2016. Our most popular product is the Xari stroller that has over 180 color combinations.
What sets mima apart in the baby marketplace?
mima has a very modern design. All mima’s products are made of leatherette and has over 180 combinations of colors that the customer can choose from.
What can parents expect from mima at the LA Baby Show?
