To learn more about bloom, we spoke with Caitlin McGlynn, a member of their team.
For someone unfamiliar with bloom, how would you describe the company’s mission and core offerings?
bloom believes parents and baby should grow and live together in style. The DNA of bloom is about urban living, modern design and smart innovation. With our products, we follow the fundamentals of style, safety and sensibility.
What is the background of bloom? When did it start, and how has it evolved since then?
We were founded in 2007 by four dads who saw a gap in baby products that were always traditionally functional but not in tune with the lifestyle of the modern parent.
First, we became very popular for our fresco chrome highchair, the world’s tallest highchair, and have expanded that combination of design and function to baby loungers, cribs, and other nursery products. All of our award-winning products meld modern and clean design with meaningful innovation.
Founded in Australia, we first found success in Asia and Europe and now have recently shifted attention and focus to the USA. We are currently headquartered in the vibrant Chelsea neighborhood of New York City.
What are the most popular and/or newest services from bloom?
Our three most popular products are the fresco chrome contemporary high chair, the alma family of folding cribs, and the coco family of loungers.
