For someone unfamiliar with The Cradle Company, how would you describe the company’s mission and core offerings?
The Cradle Company’s mission is to support families in a community space free of judgement, to provide resources and evidence-based education that will enrich and empower relationships between parents and their children. Our core offerings are classes and workshops that help to foster attachment and joy between parents and their little ones.
Tell us about the company’s background. When did it start and how has it evolved since then?
The Cradle Company started with a vision from our founder, Brandi Jordan, which was to create a space where parents can learn, play, and connect with each other and their community. It has evolved into partnerships with local hospitals, “virtual classes” for parents through their pregnancies or adoptions until their little ones go to preschool. More than anything it has become a real partner with the community.
What are the most popular or newest services from The Cradle Company?
Our most popular services by far are pediatric sleep consultations (what parent doesn’t want more sleep?!), lactation and newborn care home visits, and of course, our awesome baby enrichment classes!
What sets The Cradle Company apart from other parenting resource centers?
We set out to become an evidenced based educational space and we believe we’ve done that and then some. The folks working at The Cradle Company really know and understand the needs of parents and their little ones. You won’t find anyone just spouting their parenting opinions to parents. What you will find is practical evidenced based advice tailored to the needs of each parent!
