One of the newer toy companies in America, People Company is here with a set of modern, educational and safe toys for infants and toddlers. Under their American section called People Toy Company, they hope to keep parenting as stress-free as possible by providing developmentally appropriate toys for young children.
We spoke to Rudy Valenta, President of People Toy Company, to learn more.
For someone unfamiliar with People Company, how would you describe the company’s mission and core offerings?
Our mission is to create products that promote the healthy development of babies and give parents a fun, guided way through parenthood. We strive to be in the vanguard of children’s products with a positive impact. We follow the idea of putting “a breath of fresh air” into everything we do. Our core offerings are the Brain Builders, Mochi and People Blocks series.
What is the background of People Company? When was it started, and how has it evolved since then?
In 1977, People Co., Ltd. was launched in Japan with a focus on children’s products that make play fun with educational benefits. We continue that same tradition today backed with more than thirty years of extensive R&D that shows in our ever-evolving product lines. In the past, our products have only been in the US market through partnerships, most notably with Valtech and Magna-Tiles. We will continue these partnerships along with launching our products in the US market under the People Toy Company brand. Following our core mission, we will be bringing innovative product lines to the discerning parent. Our products aim to simplify parenting with guided play that targets specific developmental milestones.
I recently took the position to lead their US division after working with them for several years while leading Valtech and developing the Magna-Tiles product line there. We will be creating the same high caliber products, but now for newborns and babies.
What are the most popular and/or newest services from People Company?
